I have a fatal and invisible handicap. I failed to put up my placard and got a ticket. He was right to ticket me, however, when I showed him my placard he got in my face yelling and talking about how much the ticket was, and people who \"work the system\". They need to be educated about the many invisible handicaps. I\'m surprised they aren\'t. Please support me in asking them to educate their officers. We take enough abuse from civilians that have no clue. We expect more from our Law Enforcement officers. They shouldn\'t verbally assault a very small, very sick woman and her 10 year old child. My blog post is I didn\'t come to this part of my journey by being a floor mat. By being told no, by the words impossible. If I feel something is wrong, I will stand up and I will fight. I have had my car scratched, I\'ve been yelled at, I had somebody slap my rear view mirror - all because I look healthy and have a very serious and fatal disability.

It\'s ok to do 50MPH+ and 6000RPM when driving through the Valencia Summit on West Del Monte Drive. Take out your Freeway frustrations right here. We\'ve NOT see the nice motorcycle cop with the radar gun on Saint Dennis Ct for about 15 yrs. Try not to kill anyone but you could also cross the double yellow line. At least that is what I observe often. Guess it\'s ALL ok?

Someday the cop on the bike with the radar gun will return to West Del Monte Drive after a 15 yrs break. There is NO ENFORCEMENT OF SPEED in the Valencia Summit and EVERYONE KNOWS it!

PLEASE observe with your radar gun between 2PM and 5PM or wait until someone is KILLED and we make the evening news. It\'s your call. BTW: I have called the Sheriff 661-255-1121 and begged to the Traffic Enforcement cop and have done so many a time.

PS: Reason for this post - I got a memory jog when someone SCREAMED by on West Del Monte moments ago. I did not hear a crash this time.

I am hoping that someone at the Sheriff\'s station looks at this site.
I live on Sand Canyon, about 1 mile south of the 14. I bring in trash cans off the street after trash pick-up around 6:15 am on Friday mornings. The speed limit here is 45. The traffic headed south on Sand Canyon at this hour is going about 60 mph, freeeway speed. There is a lit speed notice sign a couple hundred feet south of my home, it\'s easy to see how fast these people are going.
Can anyone do something about this? Someone is going to be hurt.
I have to duck back onto my driveway when these people come into my view. I have to wait until it\'s clear to haul the trash cans onto my property. The street is narrow where I am.
Thank you.

As someone who grew up in an LAPD household, I have mixed feelings about SCV Sherrifs. However, to all you who keep saying that the police work for US and are our SERVANTS, you are mistaken. Just becuase they serve the community, that does NOT make them our servants. I am a teacher, and people who choose public service as a profession are not slaves to the public, open to be abused and disrespected. Sure, many officers could better serve the community, but they are not servants.

Robbed says:
This is an open letter for the people who robbed us this morning.

Hi Mister! Or Miss! I hope you use the money you get out of selling our belongings to good use. I thought we were in the worst situation a family can ever be into. But maybe not.
We lost the house we worked hard for, we could not afford a lawyer, we were evicted, left most of our belongings in there because we could not afford movers, we had to stay in motel/inns for almost 2 months, sometimes in our truck where you took our belongings from because we didn\'t have the money to pay for a room. We rented a house but were evicted again because our debts were catching up on us. We finally settled here, nice area , gated and supposedly safe. You see, we have a child growing up and if you were a parent too then you would understand what I\'m trying to tell you. I\'m glad you didn\'t try taking the truck too. Of course for obvious reasons. But if you did, you wouldn\'t reach too far because the gas tank was empty. Just like the car I drive. I dropped off my son to school with gas good for 1-2 miles. Why? Because we don\'t have the money to put gas. Why?because we were facing another eviction last week so we had to put out all our money, emptied our pockets leaving us not even a dollar to our name to keep our apartment unit. Last night, I had to borrow $60 from a friend to pay for our (partial) electric bill because ours was for disconnection. Our wifi, I had to beg time warner to give us more time to pay for the minimum amount to keep it. Which is very important for us because being online with friends is the only outlet our child has because we cannot take him out. We just borrowed our child\'s last $100 that he got last Christmas. So we can buy some food. Those fishing poles you took, my husband bought those when life was good. Something he can never even imagine buying again in the next, at least 10 years. The same way i feel after I left many of our stuffs in our old house. We are not even halfway healing. Material things maybe but we worked hard to have those. What\'s hurtful? We cannot afford to buy those things any sooner. We are trying to stand up again, working hard to pick up the pieces. My husband stopped going to church. Hating every single cell in his body, hating his life & asking why. I keep my faith. From there I get my strength. Because I\'m the only pillar left standing to uplift my family. I show courage so we can go on although inside I am hurting. But today, after you took our stuff from the truck, i was not able to hold my tears anymore. Now my faith is being tested as well. But I think i am winning. Because as I was saying on the first part of this message that I thought we were at the worst situation, maybe not. Maybe you are in the worst situation. Maybe you are having a harder time, maybe your faith is being tested too, maybe you thought you didn\'t have a choice. I hope nobody you love is sick. I don\'t wish you that. That\'s why I tell you I hope you put the money in good use. Because what you took was our livelihood. Those tools were my husband\'s source of income because he used them for work. Half of them are the company\'s so aside from building another set for himself, he also has to replace the ones owned by the company. Maybe they\'ll take it out from his salary. We don\'t know yet.
I still wish you good luck and good life. So maybe one day, you will stop what you\'re doing. Because you don\'t know what the people you\'re stealing from are going through. Maybe they are going through tough times like you, maybe worse.
Every time you enjoy something, maybe a meal, or a drink or a new shirt or maybe having a good time using the money you will get from selling our stuff, think of us, and others who are facing challenges, some maybe contemplating on taking their own lives. The next time you plan to do another job like this, imagine being in the shoes of the people you\'re about to steal from.
I wish you a good life, a peAceful ...

The explosives and fireworks going off New Years Eve, last night, until 2am is absolutely ridiculous. What I have always heard is that \'it\'s hard to find who is lighting them off\'. It isn\'t that hard. When it goes on continually from the same place, with pretty much a fireworks display in the sky from the sky rockets, it\'s very easy to find these idiots. Drive down Alaminos in Saugus. I work with animals and this is a horror to the animals. Today, the morning after, there will be an onslaught of lost animals, terrified animals running for their lives, signs posted for lost dogs... IT IS ILLEGAL TO USE FIREWORKS AND EXPLOSIVES. If these same people were fined, just once, as they should be, it just may make them think twice. A slap on the hand does nothing!!! And I\'m sure this will continue through this weekend!!

The CHP had to take me to Henry Mayo for 6 stitches on the side of my eye. I told them I was filing charges. They filed a Refusal and charged me with a DUI. I asked for the video tape of the car. CHP will not give it to me. The Newhall Court did not file a case but told DMV to take my license.
I have a letter from the DA office that no charges are filed in this case but the DA will not tell DMV to reinstate my license. This is a crime and a business at the same time. If the court can\'t get money from you they take your license as a punishment. You can\'t drive, you can\'t work and you get caught driving they will get you on another charge.
This is a sick way of how the court tries to get you convicted some how or some way. Its not justice its how to make money from the people. The people can take it back if they stick together and read the law. Please post and give advice....

If you have all these brilliant ideas how they can do their job better or they should have done this or that, go sign up and do their job. I\'m sure the Sheriffs out here would allow you to handle calls as you see fit and they could sit back and take notes on how your doing. When I\'m in Santa Clarita I\'m truly scared of the sherifs that are suppose to protect and serve us more then any ordinary person that lives here. I\'m a 30 year old woman and I was victimized & violated by one of your officers while they pulled me over. First, I wasn\'t doing anything wrong and they got behind me and pulled me over, I pulled over immediately & put my car in park. Their were two officers on scene and one of them came over to my window and hit it so hard I thought it broke! I looked at him shocked and he opened my door grabbed my wrist and told me to get the f*** out of the car! I was terrified!! He immediately put my hands behind my back & cuffed me so tight they left marks for over a week. He never told me why he pulled me over and never once asked me my name, my license, registration or insurance. I asked him what he even pulled me over for and he declined to tell me several times. He put his hands down both my pockets took everything out of them, opened the back door of his vehicle and very ruffly put me in the back and slammed the door.. His partner had pulled my friend out of the passenger side and also cuffed and placed him in the car with me, Atleast that officer was respectful. WITHOUT CONSENT they searched my vehicle and found nothing. They were very frustrated and I was sincerely scared and even thought they might not be cops. After 2 hours of them ruining my car & calling in for a woman officer to come search me, we were released without any explanation and still without telling me what they pulled me over for in the first place. Why was I treated like a animal? Why were they able to search my car without my concent? How was a male officer able to put his hands on me & able to put his hands down my pockets? Especially since he called in a woman officer? This is totally not right and they should have consequences for acting the way he did! Maybe if there were consequences this wouldn\'t have happened to me? Please take this seriously and make sure you know what kind of officers you have out on the road. He\'s going to hurt someone and it\'s gonna become very bad for Santa Clarita!
