OBJECTIVE: I recently moved from Virginia to California so that I can have more opportunities to grow as a person and have a secure future. I want to work for a business that will allow me to do that. I am a hard and reliable worker, having worked for over three years with the same company in Virginia. I am friendly, outgoing and can work well alone or with others. I hope my decision to move to California will help open doors for me and allow me to accomplish my goals.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
June 2007 to September 2010: Burger King Corporation, Woodbridge, VA
Main duty was working the drive-thru window. I was required to and successfully maintained a 2 minute 30 second per car average while attending to customer needs in a friendly manner.
Took orders at the front counter with a smile and a positive attitude so that customers felt welcome and well served. Also, this position allowed me to acknowledge and address any customer problems.
Helped prepare sandwiches in a speedy manner and with the correct order of toppings. I made certain all meat was safe for customers to eat by cooking it to a certain temperature every time.
My team assisted in keeping the restaurant dining room clean and sanitary at all times.
July 2010 to August 2010: Fox's Pizza, Woodbridge, VA
As a cashier, I serviced customers at the front register, exchanging money, making change without a calculator and delivering customers pizzas in a timely and friendly manner.

Main duty was to collect all carts before there was a pile up. As stocking was a requirement, my duties included
some heavy lifting and replacing expired items with the new items.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Held the top drive-thru time in the Burger King region with the average time of 2 minutes 5 seconds. Won the
mystery shopper prize 5 times at Burger King meaning I provided excellent service to anonymous people chosen by Burger King to test the service I provided and was offered a management position.
I worked one month washing dishes for my fellow co-worker/friend part time at a Chinese restaurant on weekends. After showing my work skills, I was hired on the spot after the first day of work.
EDUCATION: 2009 Woodbridge Senior High School, Woodbridge ,VA / GED. I attended high school for 3 years, but had to postpone it when it became necessary to work full time to help provide for my mother. I later obtained a GED.
INTERESTS: I am 6'4 tall and enjoy playing basketball, trying new sports and playing chess. Working is very important to me. I love the winter and driving Chevy cars. I am a very good cook from breakfast to dinner meals. I enjoy learning new things that can be done with electronics and hand held devices.
