Administrative Assistant III (Office of the Chancellor (Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative) (47.5%)

Position Description:
Under the direction of the Special Assistant to the Chancellor, performs a variety of complex, specialized and responsible clerical/administrative office support functions as required by program and grant guidelines, specific to the Chancellor’s activities in support of the Institutional Effectiveness Partnership Initiative (IEPI). Provides clerical and administrative support to the Chancellor with respect to the Initiative, including support for meetings, travel arrangements and document management. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
Three (3) years administrative support experience, including working with the public and middle managers. Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Administrative support experience in an educational institution or public sector, or other governmental agency is desirable.
Education:
Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units) is required. Two additional years of administrative experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each year (30 semester units) of the educational requirement.
